Dinner

Somehow I imagined, perhaps in my early-momhood-delirium, that by this stage, my sweet child would simply eat a small amount of whatever healthy, delicious dinner I fixed for the whole family (as if I cook healthy, delicious dinners on a regular basis or something).  To show you how that’s going, here’s a picture of Caroline’s plate mid-dinner tonight:

Turkey meatballs, peas, carrots, and cantaloupe (she already ate her bread)

Guess who’s running the show at our house?  Oh, well.  At least she gets me to eat fruits and vegetables…  And it’s worth it to see this face:

Happy little girl at dinner (ignore the "birthday girl" bib)

Can you even stand it?

  1. How did you make the meatballs? I am always looking for fun, healthy, new stuff for the boys to eat and Jonah loves meatballs at school so this would be good at home too. Let me know. Thanks.

    • Ah – I don’t really make much… too busy! We get Trader Joe’s turkey meatballs and C loves ’em. :)

  2. Understand about being busy. ;) We are always looking for good, healthy, fast options during the week. Wish we had a Trader Joe’s in Houston, I heard so many good things about them.
