Caroline can sleep for hours with her mouth open and never drool.  How is that possible?  If I sleep for five minutes with my mouth open, there is an unsightly puddle on my pillow.  Is this a developmental thing (meaning babies just don’t drool in their sleep)?  Or did Caroline just hit the genetic jackpot when it comes to drooling?  Or is it because her cheeks are so gigantic all the drool can pool up inside and never spill out?  One of life’s great mysteries.

  1. Obviously she didn’t inherit that trait from my dogs…
